Training for professionals

Training can be developed for any organisation looking to generate more collaboration, teamwork or improve facilitation skills. I also offer specialist training for organisations working with young people or in education. The content is tailored to your context, from an intensive day to a course of several sessions.

Your training might include…

  • How to successfully incorporate play, crafts or participation into almost any setting.

  • Games and activities to build trust and strengthen communication between people.

  • Deepening skills for 1-1 relationships and creating the conditions for peer-to-peer learning within your organisation.

Training can also be focussed on working with young people or in education. It might include…

  • Taking a trauma-informed and non-violent communication (NVC) inspired approach to re-interpret ‘challenging’ behaviour in terms of the needs that lie underneath, and learning how we can adapt our approach to support to the specific situation of the young people.

  • Exploring the balance of being ‘ourselves’ whilst in supportive roles. Looking at the importance of reflective practice and how to care for ourselves in these settings.

  • Based around principles of social and critical pedagogy, here we go deeper into transforming traditional power dynamics and creating “classroom communities”.
